    Czech Liga Pro bets

With three gold medals, five silvers and seven bronzes at the World Table Tennis Championships in the men’s singles, plus 15 more medals in the women’s singles, the Czech Republic has a long history of producing elite table tennis stars.

And you can catch their finest players today in the Czech Liga Pro, a tournament featuring high-octane rallies across many months of action.

You can bet on Czech Liga Pro table tennis right here at interwetten, with a wide range of lines and table tennis odds available.

So read on for your complete guide to Czech Liga Pro betting.

    Understanding Czech Liga Pro Odds

If you’re new to table tennis betting or wagering on sports in general, our odds might look unfamiliar.

But the Czech Liga Pro odds are easy to understand when you know how. Fire up our match winner lines, for example, and you’ll be met with two options that look a little something like this:

    • Marcel Pikous (1.75)
    • Vratislav Petracek (2.10)

The decimal odds represent each player’s chances of winning, with 2.00 indicating a 50% (even money) line.

So, in this Czech Liga Pro table tennis betting example, we can see that Marcel Pikous is the favourite (his odds of winning are considered greater than 50%), while Vratislav Petracek is the narrow underdog (his odds are greater than 2.00, so, therefore, he is considered to have a less than 50% of winning).

One of the keys to success, when you bet on table tennis, is to back value odds; that is, where the price offered is generous, in your opinion, relative to that player’s chance of winning the match.

These decimal numbers also detail how much you can expect to win from your Czech Liga Pro table tennis bets. In our example above, a €10 wager on Pikous (odds of 1.75) would net a return of $17.50, while the same €10 stake on Petracek (odds of 2.10) would yield a payout of €21.

How to Bet on the Czech Liga Pro

Now that you know what the Czech Pro League table tennis odds mean, you can begin planning your first bet on the event.

There’re many different betting markets to explore, so here’s a quick guide to the most popular options:

    Match Winner

There are no ties in Czech Liga Pro games, with each contest played out over the best-of-five sets.

So the match winner betting market is ‘two way’ in nature: either Player A or Player B wins, it’s as simple as that.

We offer Czech Liga Pro winner odds for all the competition’s key games, so you can have your say on who you believe will prevail.

    Total Sets

As mentioned, there’s up to five sets played in each Czech Liga Pro game, with the winner being the player that wins three sets before their opponent.

You can bet on whether you think the game will go ‘over’ or ‘under’ our total sets line. For example, if you think the game will be an easy victory for one of the players, you might bet under 3.5 sets.

On the other hand, if you’re expecting a much closer game, you might be tempted to back over 3.5 or even over 4.5 sets if you think the match will go all the way to a decider.

    Set Handicap

If you want to take your match winner bets to the next level, you could try the set handicap option instead.

This imposes a minus handicap on the favourite, or a positive headstart in favour of the underdog. For example:

    • Marcel Pikous (-1.5 Sets)
    • Vratislav Petracek (+1.5 Sets)

For handicap bets on Pikous to be successful, he would need to win the game by a scoreline of 3-0 or 3-1. Why? Because if you take 1.5 from his score, he would still beat his opponent.

Alternatively, handicap bets on Petracek would be successful if he were to win the game or even lose it by a scoreline of 2-3. Why? Because we would add 1.5 to his score, which would take him clear of his opponent in these scenarios.

    Point Handicap

The mechanics of the point handicap bet are the same as the set handicap option detailed above, but this time we’re using the number of points won in the match as our guide.

Each set in the Czech Liga Pro is the first to eleven points (or more in the case of a tiebreak if the score gets to 10-10). So, over the course of an entire game, the winning player will score 33 points to win in straight sets, or possibly more if four or more sets are played.

    For example, if Marcel Pikous was to win 11-4, 11-5, 7-11, 11-6, he would have scored a total of 40 points (11 + 11 + 7 +11).

You can place your bets on which of the players you think will win the game with their handicap/head start subtracted or added to the final score.

    First Set Winner

This is exactly as the name implies: if your Czech Liga Pro predictions involved one of the players getting off to a fast start in the game, you can bet on them to win the first set.

    Live Betting

Even after a game has begun, you can still wager upon the outcome with our Czech Liga Pro live betting markets.
